HOW DOES REMOTE ACCESS WORK?
The Yale Access module plugs into your digital door lock and uses Bluetooth to talk to a Yale Connect Bridge, which via your home's WiFi talks to the Yale Access Cloud, which using 4G talks to your phone – and voilà, you have a remote control!
AUTO-LOCKING & UNLOCKING
Open sesame, otherwise known as auto-unlock* knows when you are home and opens the lock automatically. So if your hands are full or you just want to use your telekinesis powers – you’ll love this timesaver. Close sesame, it auto-locks as well.
*Based on the settings of the lock with the kit in the Yale Access app you selected.
ACTIVITY MONITORING
For the record, there is a nifty activity monitor. You’ll get instant notifications on who’s been in and out. And if you really feel like it, you’ll be able to go back in time with the history log.
VOICE CONTROL
Sing it or say it, Yale Access works with Samsung SmartThings, Apple Home Kit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. You can control your lock with your voice using Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant.
DOOR STATUS
Is the door locked? DoorSense™ lets you know when you’re just not sure. It’ll tell you if your door is locked, closed, and unlocked or open.
GUEST ACCESS
Saying it’s under the flowerpot, is a thing of the past. Now, you can set guests’ access levels and pin codes from your phone. The invite to guests will be sent to their phones. It can be an invite for the app only, code only, or access with both.

The Yale Access Kit allows users with an Assure series lock to utilize the functions and features of the Yale Access App. In four simple steps, you will be able to access new features within minutes:
- Step 1: Install the Yale Access Module into the back of an Assure Lock
- Step 2: Install the door sensor to your door jam
- Step 3: Plug in the Yale Connect Bridge to your power socket
- Step 4: Download the Yale Assure App
The Yale Access Kit enables features such as 24/7 lock activity, auto-unlock, auto-lock, and remote access. Yale’s door position sensor checks the status of the door and tells you if your door is securely closed and locked. This avoids inadvertently locking your door whilst the door is open.
Suitable for Assure series locks, this is a quick and simple solution to the first of your smart home devices or add to an existing solution.
